Precomputed Genomes - PSORTb v.2.0 Precomputed genomes now available in a new format! PSORTdb is a database containing both proteins of experimentally verified localization as well as predictions of localization for sequenced bacterial genomes. PSORTdb contains predictions and associated information for all of the genomes below generated with both PSORTb v.1.1.2 and 2.0. The data can be searched, browsed, BLASTed against and downloaded in a variety of combinations, making queries such as "show all Gram-negative cytoplasmic proteins" or "show all P. aeruginosa proteins with a predicted signal peptide" possible. Click here to visit PSORTdb. The following bacterial chromsome RefSeqs from NCBI's Genome database have been analyzed using PSORTb version 2.0. Two files are available for each genome - the inputted FASTA file (accession.faa) and the outputted PSORTb results in tab-delimited text format (accession.out). The tab delimited text file can easily be imported into your favourite spreadsheet or database program. The old precomputed genomes page, using PSORT-B v.1.1.2, is available here. If you have a favourite genome you'd like to see analyzed, contact us!
